rregular Plastic Coolant Expansion Tank
This irregular reservoir tank is integrally blow molded with automotive grade HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), specially developed for battery and motor cooling systems of new energy and hybrid vehicles. It is a low-temperature atmospheric pressure reservoir, distinctly different from the pressurized coolant expansion tanks used near high-temperature engines. Installed inside fenders or along vehicle frames far away from engine heat sources, it works steadily at temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 85℃ without facing extreme thermal conditions.
We adopt imported hydrolysis-resistant blow molding HDPE resin with no calcium carbonate filler added. The material shows outstanding resistance to ethylene glycol coolant. After 1000 hours of immersion testing, no swelling, cracking or liquid permeation occurs. With mirror-polished molds and high-pressure blowing technology, the surface is glossy and smooth without orange peel or pinholes. The wall thickness is uniform, delivering excellent impact resistance against stone chipping and great anti-aging performance for long-term outdoor service.
The seamless one-piece blow molded design comes with integrated mounting brackets and multi-port connectors for easy installation. Designed for non-pressurized operation, it features stable and reliable performance. Widely applied in passenger cars and commercial vehicles for e-drive cooling circuits, it is a popular aftermarket replacement part for European and American markets. Custom mold development is available according to clients’ drawings and samples.
