blow moulded toy
This set of Christmas ornaments is integrally formed by HDPE blow molding, featuring two designs: Santa Claus head and Christmas train. They are popular holiday decorations for foreign trade markets.
The blow molding process enables the creation of complex irregular curved surfaces, perfectly reproducing Santa’s full facial features, curly beard and the three-dimensional body of the little train. As hollow structures, the ornaments are lightweight and will not weigh down the branches when hung on Christmas trees.
The products are formed by mold closing, leaving a parting line at a hidden position. After subsequent grinding and polishing, the surface becomes smooth for white base coating and gold trim painting. HDPE material features high toughness and drop resistance. Unlike ceramic ornaments, they are not easy to break, leading to lower loss during shipment, which makes them ideal for bulk cross-border export. The material boasts good plasticity to achieve embossed details such as garlands and wheel patterns on the train, delivering strong three-dimensional effects.
Hollow blow molding supports high-volume production. The wall thickness can be adjusted flexibly to balance structural strength and cost. A hanging hole is reserved at the top of each ornament for direct use with gold thread strings. Besides Santa and Christmas train, this process can be applied to various hollow irregular products including pumpkins, animal figures and holiday decorations. The surface has good coating adhesion. Custom colors, patterns and logos are available. Suitable for European and American holiday gifts, home decor and supermarket merchandise, it is a low-cost and highly flexible solution for hollow plastic products.
